I prefer to give lessons in informal setups, to keep the conversation more natural and fun and less clinical. Whether it is for conversational or professional purposes, you'll need to learn the "everyday" way of talking french if you want to have great conversations and even seal business deals. French people are known to cut words out, shorten them, or verlan them (putting syllabus of a word in a different order), so if you learn it by the book, you'll be quickly lost in a conversation.
The best and fastest way to learn French is to start learning with visual memory (ie: seeing an umbrella, seeing the written translation "parapluie' and it's prononciation. You'll then be able to catch up topics and learn new words on your own, so you don't solely rely on our classes.
I'm a French native, billingual Spanish and English, with a Master in International Business and Marketing in French and English, and I've travelled all over the world, South Africa, Spain, UK, Mexico (where I've learnt to speak Spanish in 6 months).
I've been giving French lessons for 8 years, mostly to friends and individuals interested in learning conversational French, and several business owners.
All my students have been able to learn the fundamentals and basics, allowing them to continue learning on their own, without the need of a long term tutor.
I have 8 years of experience in the entertainment industry, managing international projects in sports, tourism and the music industry. My primary focus is to contribute positively to the entertainment industry, enhancing the fan experience through the development of creative digital campaigns, sponsoring activations with other global entities (Umbro, Nando’s, Levi’s, BET, Cartoon Network) while ensuring the brand’s consistency. I also currently co-own a record production company in London.
