Skills included: flatplanning; man-managing staff and contributors past tight copy and art deadlines, both for Macworld and supplements.

Oct 1994-Jan 1997 deputy editor, Automobile Association editorial unit | My primary brief was producing the AA’s monthly staff newspaper – within budget and to tight web-offset printer deadlines.

Jan 1996-Jan 1999 distance learning tutor, London School of Journalism | Taught sub-editing and newswriting.

Sept 1993-Oct 1994 freelance news sub-editor | Worked on Today, The Sun, News of the World, Morning Star, Sunday Sport, and the medical trade title, Pulse.
