About Cassie
I am an elite athlete, and have been playing netball for over 10 years. I have played for a range of teams, for both Surrey Storm and London Pulse from the U15s to the U21s. I have been assistant coach at London Pulse Franchise camps, and play for the Telstars Prem team. I understand what it takes to succeed in netball and the how to progress through the pathway towards England or Superleague netball.

I believe it is important to perfect the basics in netball in order to progress onto the more complicated plays, tactics and structures. It is essential for a player to understand the role their position demands, and how they can dictate the game and outplay their player to lead their team to victory. I can work on specific drills and tactics (zoning, set centre passes etc) or more generic footwork, fitness and strength building to progress a players game and performance. I have also completed a Diploma in Sporting Excellence through England Netball, in which I researched the importance of nutrition, hydration and rest. Furthermore, I learnt about the psychology behind performing your best, along with how to deal with finance surrounding sport, how to deal with injury or failure, how to present yourself on social media or to the press and dealing with health and safety. This is all invaluable information that I would love to pass on to a young athlete, and I enjoy taking a holistic approach and improving a range of aspects in an athletes life to help progress their play as a whole.
