About Lucy
I am a second year student in Modern Languages at the University of Sheffield and have been learning French since GCSE level. I also study German and Spanish so know how important it is to find interesting ways to practise, to keep the languages from rusting. In the past I have taught Spanish in a local school, as well as doing one-on-one tutoring in French oral expression on several occasions.

I'm open to helping in any aspect of French you might be struggling with, having been through GCSE and A-level French myself I would be delighted to share the ways in which I prepared for these exams. While these exams are largely vocabulary-based, it is equally important to have a firm grasp of grammar- which isn't always as boring as it sounds! I believe speaking is the best way to acquire a new language (including its grammar) but would tailor each lesson to include appropriate written practice too.
