Jacqui is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and has a kind manner. I never took to easily to languages, but Jacqui always helped me to make progress in each lesson. She listened to my concerns and always found ways to help me address them. Jacqui is hardworking and focused. I thoroughly recommend her.

I feel so lucky to have had Jacqui as my German teacher when I took my German GCSE and A Level. She is an incredibly encouraging and diligent teacher, and has given me a great love of German language and culture. I particularly struggle with grammar when learning languages, but I found that Jacqui made it all so clear and easily accessible. I very much recommend her to anyone wishing to learn this language! She was certainly one of the best teachers I've ever had.

As someone with a hearing disability, choosing to learn German at GCSE level was admittedly a brave choice. However, Jacqui was an incredible teacher, with a huge amount of patience, perseverance and enthusiasm that shone through in all of our German lessons. It was clear that she cared a great deal about my progress, ensuring that each small achievement in improving my German skills was celebrated and building up my confidence in speaking and writing in German. There were times when I personally struggled in listening exercises due to my disability, but Jacqui constantly adapted to the situation and tried different and more successful methods to enable me to enhance my listening skills. Jacqui is someone who is able to accurately assess the needs of her students when she first starts working with us, identifying key areas of the language to improve on from the start. I would thoroughly recommend Jacqui as a tutor, without hesitation, as she is someone who takes a genuine interest in her students' language abilities and maintains a fantastically positive and friendly attitude throughout her teaching.
