About Domi
I am a professional Spanish tutor with 13 years of teaching experience, committed to helping High School and College students achieve success through personalised education. I believe every learner deserves individual attention, encouragement, and a learning plan that reflects their strengths and goals. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and creating an enjoyable learning experience where students feel confident to participate and grow.
My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, speaking, and conversational Spanish. I present new concepts in simple steps and reinforce learning through interactive practice, meaningful conversations, and real-world examples. This helps students understand not only the language itself but also how to use it confidently in everyday situations.
A unique skill I bring to my teaching is my ability to adapt quickly to different learning styles. Some students learn best through visual materials, while others benefit from discussion, repetition, or practical exercises. I combine different teaching techniques to make every lesson engaging, productive, and suited to the individual learner. My teaching methodology for Spanish is centred around motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to ensure students learn efficiently and enjoyably. I motivate students by creating a positive environment, setting clear goals, and providing regular feedback to help them feel confident and encouraged.
Communication is at the core of my approach, so I emphasise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in practical and interactive ways. I make lessons creative by using storytelling, games, role-plays, and visual tools to keep students engaged and make learning memorable.
Time management is important in my classes; I plan lessons carefully to cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice without overwhelming students. I also guide students on how to manage their study time outside the classroom for consistent improvement.
Apart from Spanish, I can also teach related subjects such as grammar basics, pronunciation, and language learning techniques. My goal is to help students learn Spanish in a simple, structured, and enjoyable way while building confidence and fluency step by step.
