About Gabriela Del Mar
I am a professional lyric soprano and violinist with a deep passion for music pedagogy and the holistic well-being of performers. Originally from Colombia, my musical journey began as a violinist before I transitioned into the world of operatic performance, giving me a unique, multi-instrumental perspective on technique and musicality.
With years of experience performing in choirs and orchestras, I have dedicated my career to understanding the human voice and its incredible potential for healing and transformation. Currently, I am continuing my professional growth in Canada, focusing on a teaching approach that is both technically rigorous and deeply human.
I understand the challenges of starting a new instrument or finding your own voice. My goal as a tutor is to provide you with the tools to overcome limitations, build confidence, and discover the same joy that music has brought to my life. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am here to guide you with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to your personal growth.

My teaching approach is entirely student-centered because I believe every musical journey is unique. Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time or looking to develop your singing voice, my goal is to help you find excellence through the joy of making music.
For Singing: My lessons go beyond vocal scales. We incorporate yoga-based breathing exercises and physical awareness to build a healthy foundation, focusing on exploration and repertoire that resonates with you. Most importantly, we have a lot of fun! As you discover your own voice, you will find that music can impact your life much more deeply than you ever imagined.
For Violin: We focus on technical exercises to build comfort and precision, always applied to a repertoire tailored to your level and personal tastes. For beginners and children, I use engaging methods to make learning natural and exciting.
The human connection is vital to me. As a Colombian musician with international experience, I understand the challenges of finding your own path. I am always happy to chat and answer questions about the process; I want you to feel supported every step of the way.
I view discipline not as a burden, but as a natural act of self-commitment and a space for transformation. I am here to adapt to your pace, your needs, and your musical dreams.
