About Jacqueline
I was born in the UK but grew up in the Caribbean, where i attended school sand university and worked for the first part of my working life both in the Government Service and in the Caribbean regional NGO community. I was also a part-time teacher with the local Salvation Army in St Vincent and the Grenadines and taught Advanced Typewriting and English to adults. I subsequently moved to Jamaica St Lucia where i worked form an International NGO in those countries. That organisation was the Caribbean Regional Development Centre for a British NGO and covered programmed in the English, French and Central American programmes in areas such as Advocacy, Income Generation, where i served as Programme Assistant. I currently work in the Higher Education sector in the UK and also work in my community part-time as a Community Care Giver. and Given the vast and diverse knowledge and qualifications I possess in different fields - and given the vast impact my former teachers have had in my life, tutoring will allow me to share my experience and knowledge in a given field. I lean on these qualities heavily while I'm tutoring. I think my energy will help students stay engaged and motivated with the material, and my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably.
