About Rob
I am a Manchester illustrator with a background in fine art. However in recent years I have focused more on digital drawing and painting. Since leaving university in 2013 I have worked as a freelance artist and worked on a wide range of projects such as comic style art, photo editing, logo design, cartooning and detailed portraits. I also used to help out at a local youth club and would often teach basic drawing classes to children of all ages.

My teaching method is to start with the very basics of drawing. So you'd learn all about how to begin an image with simple lines and build it up using shapes. This would develop into more advanced drawing techniques such as shading, perspective and even some more cartoon based stuff should you wish to go down that route. I can also teach how to use Adobe Photoshop to alter images, create drawings and how to use it as a great tool for colouring.

Details
I work on a pay as you go basis. Simply pay for each lesson as you've completed it. If you don't feel that the tuition is for you, then there's no pressure for you to carry on. I'm also happy to offer any help outside of tuition hours. So for example if a student is working on a specific piece, or needing ideas for one, they can message me outside of their lesson hours and I'll offer any help I can free of charge. My main goal is helping your creative spark to burn as bright as it can and filling this town with more artists.
