About Beatrice
I am a Classics and Ancient History MA student at the University of Manchester. I have previously tutored 7 A Level History students in the Bristol area through a program established by the University of Bristol. I am proud to say that most of these students, as a result of the efforts of everybody involved in this program, were offered places to study at the University of Bristol. and I am keen to expand my repertoire to include Classics and Latin, and to build relationships in the Manchester area.

My approach to tutoring centres around a relationship of mutual trust between myself and my tutee, and an unimpeachable policy of zero judgement. I strive for my tutees to regard our time together as a safe academic haven - there is no such thing as a stupid question! My job is not just to impart knowledge on a narrow subject, but also to provide my friends with the skills and approaches to their studies that will ultimately mean that I am no longer be needed! I incorporate a lot of breathing exercises and gentle yoga movements into my sessions, but if the thought of this makes you squirm, don't worry, we can discuss all of the particulars in person!
