Hello, I’m Rain

I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China currently living in Edinburgh. I studied at the University of Edinburgh and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident using Chinese in real life. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and creating a relaxed, supportive learning environment where students can grow at their own pace and enjoy the learning process.

My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on real communication, pronunciation and building confidence step by step. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes speaking practice, listening and useful daily expressions. I teach beginners to intermediate learners, teenagers and adults who want practical Mandarin Chinese for travel, study or personal interest.
