About LISA

Hi, I'm Lisa Hong. I believe language learning works best when students understand what they're learning, why it matters, and how to use it beyond the classroom.

Whether you're starting Mandarin for the first time, preparing for a trip, pursuing study goals, or developing communication skills for work, your lessons can be shaped around your purpose.

Your Chinese learning options
- Pronunciation and tones: Learn Pinyin, distinguish tones, and improve clarity when speaking.
- Everyday Mandarin: Introduce yourself, ask questions, express opinions, and handle common daily situations.
- Grammar made understandable: Explore sentence structures, word order, particles, and frequently used patterns.
- Vocabulary that sticks: Learn useful words in context instead of relying on isolated memorisation.
- Reading and writing: Develop your understanding of Chinese characters and written communication.
- Chinese for travel and business: Practise useful expressions for real situations and professional interactions.
- Proficiency examination preparation: Work on relevant vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, and test-taking skills according to your target examination.
