About Vicky
I'm Vicky and I'm currently offering 1-to-1 or group lessons! I'm Singaporean but grew up in Taiwan. Therefore I'm fluent in both English and Mandarin. Being a bilingual speaker really helps me effectively communicate with people of different cultures and backgrounds. I love teaching and I'm especially good at teaching kids. Starting to learn Mandarin at a young age is easier for children to adapt to producing the foreign tones of a new language.

In my past teaching experience, it is important to inspire and motivate students to learn the language besides delivering fundamental knowledge and skills. I believe the most effective way of teaching is students' own engagement and interaction. In my teaching, I'll utilize interactive teaching methods and activities to encourage students to learn and speak in Mandarin.
