About Mi Yee
I'm Miyee and my name in Chinese is 尹美颐, my students used to call me Ms. Miyee. I graduated with a Master's Degree from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and I have been living in Beijing, China for more than 10 years. Currently, I’m finishing PGCE (Mandarin) with UCL, UK. I am a hardworking and responsible person with the ability to work effectively within a team, dealing with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I am able to show initiative where necessary, and I am a positive person, who is able to work effectively under pressure. I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Malay. I'm a qualified International Chinese Instructor since the year 2014, which I enjoy helping people in learning Mandarin as their second language, even though the process is not easy yet it is fun and interesting. I have been helping students from Sweden, Spain, USA, Nepal, Australia, the UK, and the Philippines. I enjoy working with both adults and children (age 4-12), and I have been a volunteer teacher in an International School in Beijing, China for 4 years.

Very approachable and easy to talk to and adaptable to ensure students learn.Mi Yee has been teaching my daughter, Melanie Ng Mandarin (both speaking and writing) for the past 2 years on a twice weekly basis. My daughter is now a confident mandarin speaker and has done Level 1 and 2 HSK exams. Mi Yee makes the tuition fun and my child loves going to her for tuition. She is very dedicated and reliable tutor.
