About Margo
Precision in double stops, posture and hold, bowing technique, vibrato, rhythm and timing, shifting positions, ear training, and classical repertoire remains the bedrock of my practice. Working with adults managing full-time careers requires a calm rhythm that respects their limited time while maintaining high standards. My 7 years of instruction have taught me that the classroom was never my path, yet one-to-one guidance revealed my true strength as an educator.
I hold a Master of Music in violin performance from the Manhattan School of Music. Silence often speaks louder than technical correction, so I ask many questions before offering any answers. My method relies on the Alexander Technique to ensure RELIABLE PROGRESS

Ever wonder why tension creeps into your shoulders during a difficult passage? We begin by addressing posture, breath, and release to ground your physical state before touching the instrument.
This foundational work allows the music to emerge from a place of ease rather than force. 6.0 is the foundational priority for all my students. Precision is vital. I remain a guide for your development.
