About Mark
- What kind of experience do you have?
I began tutoring over 6 months ago in Manchester before recently moving to London (I am happy to provide references). My students have ranged in age from 15 through to 65 and as such I have had a great deal of experience tutoring GCSE through to A-Level and casual/independent learners.
During my year abroad, I spent over half a year teaching English in a French secondary school, leading classes of up to 15 students. The varying degrees of ability within the groups necessitated a flexible approach and one that would engage even those pupils who did not enjoy the subject.

A graduate of Oxford University (The Queen's College), I have been tutoring students of all abilities for over six months. A friendly and approachable individual, we will work towards your French or German goals in a productive, yet relaxed environment.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
French and German
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA Hons degree from Oxford University (The Queen's College) in French and German, As in A-Level in these subjects (before the introduction of the A* at A-Level), and A*s at GCSE.
- How much do you charge?
£40/hour (although sessions can run on by around ten minutes in my experience, for which no extra charge is made).
- Where do you teach?
Sessions will take place at my home in Kilburn, although I am prepared to travel around north/north west London for an extra £10.
- When are you available?
Seven days a week, 9am - 9pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All levels, from 11+ through to A-Level, as well as independent learners looking at picking up a language for fun or work.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
