About Tumei
My background is marketing and public relations, having worked 10 years in China at a US company, serving a wide range of multinational and Chinese companies. I have also worked part-time teaching special topics and adult Chinese courses in Confucius Institute in Manila. I have a BA degree in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

I would adjust my teaching method based on assessment of students' levels and needs.
For students who aim to pass HSK level tests to study in China, the lessons would be constructed according to the respective requirements of HSK levels and textbooks, a mix of vocabulary, text comprehension, writing, listening & speaking practice.
For students who aim to improve their conversational Chinese to live and work in China, the lessons would be constructed on topics. Such as social greetings and introduction, professions and work experience, project discussion and negotiation. Each topic will drill core vocabulary and key expressions.
While teaching students, I am very aware of not overwhelming with information, but rather focus on making it memorable and relevant to the pace of my students' learning.
