About Steve
I have studied psychotherapy up to a Level 4 Diploma. I know firsthand how much work goes into mastering clinical theory, and how little time is left to learn the business side of running a practice.
My unique multidisciplinary background eliminates the frustration of working with standard marketing agencies that don’t understand therapy.
I speak your clinical language. I understand the ethical frameworks of our profession (such as BACP and UKCP boundaries), the critical importance of client confidentiality, and the precise, gentle tone required when speaking to people in distress.
My goal is to quickly equip you with the practical, creative skills you need to build a sustainable practice that serves your community and respects your professional values.

Marketing your private practice can feel deeply uncomfortable.
As clinicians, we are trained in holding space and maintaining boundaries, not in self-promotion, SEO algorithms, or graphic design. You want to attract clients who genuinely need your help, but standard marketing advice often feels too aggressive and corporate.
With a background in journalism and a trained psychotherapist, I can help.
In our sessions, we bridge that gap. I don't give you abstract marketing theory; we do the practical work together, live via screen-share, to build a practice footprint that feels safe, ethical, and authentic to you.
What we will work on together:
BACP and or UKCP-aligned copywriting.
Learn how to write compelling profile text (for Psychology Today or your website) that speaks directly to your ideal client, without over-promising or breaching ethical boundaries.
Hands-on Canva & Adobe Express Design: I will guide you step-by-step through designing your own beautiful, professional leaflets, business cards, and social templates using a calm, therapeutic colour palette.
Simple SEO for Private Practice: Demystify how Google works. We will find the exact local terms potential clients are searching for in your area and integrate them naturally into your text so you can be found organically.
Ethical AI Implementation: Learn how to responsibly use AI tools to brainstorm blog topics or format practice policies without compromising client confidentiality or your professional voice.
You will leave each hour with practical deliverables—whether that is a finished flyer design, optimised website text, or a clear marketing plan for your private practice., whether you a new business or want your marketing material refreshed.
