About Dorothy
Hello! Are you struggling with organization, reading a special need? Are you trying to just get through Spanish 1 for a requirement? I can help by creating an atmosphere where you can feel safe and seen. We can get through this together!
I have 3 grown children and was a teacher or assistant for 8 years and have a master's degree from JHU in training and development. I love children of all ages. There is not much I have not seen!

I would like to build trust and rapport with a student. I believe in small rewards for progress in keeping with positive behavior incentives used by schools. A lesson will involve an opening (low pressure) the lesson according to what the child needs. And then an exit ticket to see if the student understands the material or needs more work.
