My teaching style is centred around repetition and focus on 'the basics' in mathematics. I emphasise repetitive exercises to solidify core concepts. This not only enhances understanding but also builds the confidence needed to tackle more complex problems.
The integration of past papers is a cornerstone of my methodology. By exposing students to real exam scenarios, they not only grasp the content but also become familiar with the exam format and question structures. This strategic approach has consistently yielded positive results, enabling my students to excel in their GCSE Mathematics examinations.
Lessons are one hour with the first 15 minutes spent going over homework set in previous class and a quick Maths game or warm up excersise.

Amanda is a friend from university and during my Masters in Data Science and AI, she helped me with various maths modules on the course. The material included linear algebra, matrices and differential equations. Having studied politics in my undergrad it had been some 10 years since I’d studied mathematics, and I was feeling pretty overwhelmed. Amanda was patient and helped me get to grips with the basics before aiding my understanding of more complex concepts. Amanda is very good at explaining complicated problems in a way that is easy to understand and I couldn’t recommend her enough as a maths tutor. I can't recommend her enough.
