About Selena
Students can trust that their learning support comes from a highly qualified and state-verified educator. I hold a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction (Inclusive Practices), officially awarded on 16-MAY-2026, with consistently strong academic performance across graduate coursework. My transcript reflects a rigorous foundation in special education, inclusive pedagogy, behavioral support, and instructional planning.
In addition to my graduate training, I maintain multiple active Colorado credentials that demonstrate professional readiness and regulatory compliance. I hold a Colorado Substitute Authorization endorsed for Substitute Teacher (Grades K-12), valid 01.20.2026 – 01.20.2029. I also hold the Early Childhood Professional Credential – Level 5, awarded Jun 30, 2026, valid through Jun 30, 2029, and the Early Childhood Teacher Qualification, also awarded Jun 30, 2026. These credentials confirm advanced competency, leadership capability, and adherence to Colorado’s highest standards for early childhood and educational practice.
Together, these qualifications provide clear reassurance of my professionalism, credibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate support for every learner.

Sessions give students a clear, structured look at how learning unfolds: each meeting begins with gentle regulation, moves into focused skill instruction, and builds toward scaffolded practice and independent application.
Longer sessions add breaks, multi‑skill blocks, and project work, all designed to strengthen executive‑function skills, academic confidence, and long‑term independence.
Students get a predictable, supportive format that adapts to their needs while maintaining a high‑quality, inclusive learning experience.
