About Alaynah
Alongside my clinical career, I have always had a genuine passion for teaching and helping young people recognise their potential. I understand that students learn in different ways, so I aim to create a patient, supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Seeing a student grow in confidence, improve their understanding and achieve results they once thought were out of reach is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style and confidence level. I tutor GCSE English and Science, breaking difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps and using exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and technique. As a fully qualified optometrist with a first-class Master’s degree and five years of tutoring experience, I provide patient, encouraging lessons that help students build confidence, address gaps in their knowledge and work towards achieving their best possible grades.
