About Linda
- I'm a Canadian who has been living in the UK since 2002. I started my own business writing company in 1998 and have since consulted for a large number of corporations both in Canada and the UK, working on projects as varied as annual reports, website copy, presentation creation, training programmes, marketing materials, professional CVs, etc. I also worked for several years as the Information Officer for Bedfordshire County Council Trading Standards. I am an expert user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as several online editing platforms. - In the past several years I have had the pleasure of working with several students of Anglia Ruskin University, De Montfort University, and King's College London, helping them gain the skills to create the best reports and essays they can, including presentation creation and delivery. I have so enjoyed working with them and seeing them succeed, that I decided to join SuperProf and expand myself as a tutor and mentor. - My personal CV and corporate client list is available upon request.

- I work with individuals (GCSE, A level, or University/College) who are new to academic and/or business writing and wish to learn the skills to successfully produce essays, reports, theses, presentations, CVs, and other business projects. I do not teach rote lessons. Rather, I tailor my support to each individual's needs. - Whether or not English is your first language, together we can work on anything from general writing improvement to help with a specific assignment, simplifying research, enhancing vocabulary, critical editing, and much more, all without the aid of AI, which is traceable by most academic institutions. I DO NOT do the assignment for you, but I will help you understand what is required and how best to complete it. - I am a professional business writer and librarian/researcher with over 30 years' experience in academic and business writing, (MFA in Creative Writing from University of British Columbia). - I work remotely from Lincolnshire, UK via Zoom or Microsoft Teams; I am also happy to welcome you into my home for personal one-to-one tuition. I can charge on an hourly basis or negotiate a fee for extended help on a specific project.

Linda is such a patient and helping person naturally. A former librarian, two English degrees, with a lot of common sense built over years in academia. I have witnessed her helping foreign language students absolutely exceed all expectations. Both their own expectations, and that of the professors. One notable example received straight A's, and the highest marks ever achieved at that particular University. She will help and guide, but will not do the work for you. An amazing empathy and understanding of each individuals personal need, is also very apparent.
