About Eduardo
I have been working with Data Analytics and visualisation tools for the last 20 years. If you need help with Power BI or Tableau, you can also count on me. I use a very direct and pragmatic approach when solving problems. That's a consequence of my experience dealing with data and developing high-performing teams. My academic formation (Bachelor in Production Engineering and MSC in Business Administration) provides the conceptual background and business knowledge to understand a wide range of analytics problems.

We will work as if we were working on a real project. The sessions are usually 1 hr in length. How are we working together? 1. First lesson: we get to know each other and define the scope definition. This lesson is always free. 2. Data exploration and problem definition: usually takes 2 sessions. We go through your data and define which questions you need to answer and which ones you can actually answer using the data. 3. Data modelling and testing: that's the most important part of the project. We are going to build the data structure and create sampling dashboards telling the stories you need. It can take from 1 or 2 sessions for simple problems to 4 or 5 sessions for the most complex data structures. 4. Final adjustments and release: at this point, if we made everything in the proper way, you should be mastering your Dashboard and Datasets. We can go through some role-playing usage but it will be probably almost finished. Then, if you want to go through another set of questions and datasets, we run through the cycle again and again.

He is also very open minded, something that really helped me to structure the lessons and suggest tasks / next steps.
In my opinion he has just started his data analytics journey and has to practice a lot.
I suggest that he starts looking for real life exercises (personal finance control, for example) so he can use the techniques in a day to day basis.
I think if he has special attention to these first steps, it will be relatively easy for him to achieve a next level. I hope I can help him in the process!

Although he is very technical, through an accessible language he demystifies and uncomplicates making excel my best friendBefore meeting Edu, I had never used Excel properly: I would fumble around it on rare occasions in order to make a graph, but escape as soon as I could. Not only did I not know what to do, I also wasn't aware of everything that could potentially be done using Excel and how it would make my work 100 times easier. Edu was very kind to take time and teach me the basic logic behind it and accompanied me whilst I started building more advanced formulas. He doesn't mind explaining however times it may be necessary and whenever he is met with an issue he doesn't already know how to solve (which is very rare, I must say), he is quick to adjust and find other ways to use the tools provided in the software. Could not recommend Edu highly enough.

Cancellations are accepted if a message is sent 24h before the lesson starts. Last minute cancellations are not allowed, since every lesson requires preparation. Whenever possible, send over relevant files and a list of topics you want to explore. This will make our session more productive.
