About Grace
Hello! My name is Grace and I am currently a master's student, studying teaching English (ESL/EFL). What I love most about teaching is that I am always a learner too. I think that mutual respect and trust is one of the first steps in any classroom, and it is certainly my first priority! I want learning to feel effortless and enjoyable and I want you to be involved in the process!

A quote that inspires my teaching is: 'Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn' by Benjamin Franklin. What I prioritize most in my classes is engagement. It's a fact that we learn by doing, and for that growth to take place, I want my students to be involved in their own learning. I have experience teaching in a primary education second grade classroom, ages 7-8, ranging from all subjects: reading, writing, science, math, and social studies. I also have experience teaching at a local university in their English as a foreign language classes. Because of my range of experience, from children to adults, I exhibit a range of strengths in my classes: involvement, adaptation, and personalization.
