About Ronaldd
Experienced teacher of classical, acoustic and electric guitar; degree in Music from the University of Évora, in the Instrument variant (Classical Guitar). I am currently finishing the Master's course in Music Teaching, also at the University of Évora.
I have done several jobs as a musical theater director over the years and won some awards in the field of music and musical composition, like:
- 2nd prize in 6th Edition of the Competition "Prémio de Composição do Séc. 21" (Portugal, 2015);
- Finalist in "SMCO's International Composition Competition" with a symphonic orchestra piece (Seattle, EUA, 2016);
- 3rd prize and best portuguese composition in 1st edition of "Portugal International Guitar Composition Competition" (Portugal, 2020)

About the lesson

I work intuitively and with concrete goals, in order to trace the student's path more effectively. I teach for all levels (beginner, basic, intermediate and advanced).
Some of the relevant points of my classes are:
- Basic posture of the instrument and the body;
- Mastery of the fretboard and its correct handling;
- Teaching theory along the student's path;
- Basic and advanced techniques of right and left hand;
- Learning repertoire (songs);
- Technical approach to the instrument: scales, arpeggios, hammer on and pull offs, relief of exaggerated body tension, among others.
In addition to the basic content, we can also address topics such as:
- Improvisation;
- Musical composition;
- And others that the student expresses interest.
Possibility to buy a pack of classes and get a discount on the total price!
Classes can take place at the student's home or at my own house in Hoole, Chester. For classes at the student's home, the travel cost is added to be agreed in advance.
