About Julia
I hold a Master of Music Performance from the University of Melbourne, and I've been teaching the classical guitar for over ten years. I guide students through AMEB and other exams, and I'm based in Glen Waverley. I take a step-by-step approach to teaching the guitar to ensure a good technical foundation.

I teach anyone from total beginners up to confident players. I place particular emphasis on sight-reading skills and fretboard knowledge, which we practise in our lessons through frequent duet playing. Right hand technique is especially important for tone production, so that is another area of great focus.
