About Jacob
Teaching language effectively requires ignoring the common myths about grammar. My 13 years of experience have proven that students learn faster through context than rote memorisation. Many learners struggle to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world speaking. Sometimes it is hard to admit that basic grammar is not enough to hold a flowing conversation. I fix this by emphasising idioms, expressions, and interview preparation through active listening. Weekly conversation recordings are reviewed together to track growth and refine pronunciation.
We also cover academic writing, reading comprehension, and professional email composition. My 8.0 rating reflects this structured approach.
