About Ethan
I am a Master's-prepared Registered Nurse and a recent graduate who successfully completed the Next Generation NCLEX. As someone who has recently navigated nursing school and licensure, I understand the challenges students face and the support they need to succeed. The aspect of nursing that excites me most is education and helping students bridge the gaps that can sometimes remain after classroom instruction. My greatest priority is the success of my students, and if I am investing my time in teaching you, that means I believe in your ability to achieve your goals.

Teaching method and techniques
My instruction focuses on building the skills needed for both academic success and professional competency. I encourage students to work through challenging material and become comfortable making mistakes, as those moments often provide the best learning opportunities. Rather than relying on memorization, I focus on helping students understand concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and apply knowledge confidently.
A typical lesson plan
I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs and goals. Sessions typically begin with a review of key concepts and relevant test-taking strategies, followed by guided practice questions. As students gain confidence, I encourage them to explain their reasoning and eventually teach concepts back to me, reinforcing both understanding and retention.
What sets me apart as a tutor
I believe tutoring should create lasting success, not just help students pass their next exam. My goal is to build independence and confidence so students can continue succeeding long after our sessions end. In my view, the greatest measure of success is when a student no longer needs tutoring because they have developed the skills to succeed on their own.

I provide tutoring for nursing students at all levels, including NCLEX-RN preparation and nursing school coursework. I support students in subjects such as medical-surgical nursing, pathophysiology, pharmacology, fundamentals, and more. I also assist with scholarly writing, APA formatting, research skills, and other academic requirements common in nursing programs.
