About Nikola
I'm 23 years old and study mathematics and cryptography for a master's degree at University of Turku, Finland. I tutored for several years during my undergraduate studies, mostly in linear algebra and calculus. On the one hand, it's a lot of fun to watch the gears fall into place, when your students understand a concept, but on the other hand, formulating simple and understandable explanations also tremendously helps your own understanding of the subject.

I offer private tutoring or tutorials in linear algebra and analysis or applied mathematics to all students who may have difficulties in the math part of their studies.
University mathematics is often too abstract to be accessible for people with only a high school background in math. Therefore I think it is valuable to break down the rigorous, formal concepts into tangible, illustrative examples. From there, it is easier to generalize back to the abstract.
In a tutoring session, I can adapt flexibly to your needs. Ideally, you tell me your curriculum in advance, and then we discuss the core aspects of the material that are relevant to understanding, as well as strategies for solving the tasks. We can focus specifically on helping you solve weekly assignments, or do some intensive sessions to prepare you for an exam.
