About Marie
Of German origin, I have lived in France for seven years and did my higher education in Toulouse. I started with a Bachelor in Psychology and I reoriented myself towards a DU in French as a Foreign Language after which I continued with a Master's degree in the same subject. I am very interested in languages and their teaching. I have been giving private lessons for several years and have had great success with my former students.

In my point of view, a language is above all a tool of communication and expression. This is why I base my classes on learning and practicing speaking. My classes take place only (or as much as possible) in French, even at a beginner's level. I try to make the student speak as much as possible so that he or she feels more and more at ease in the foreign language. At the first meeting we will define together the objectives of the course. I want to give the student maximum freedom of choice in what he / she wants to learn and what subjects he / she wants to talk about in order to keep his motivation intact. Although I focus on speaking, writing is an integral part of my lessons and I can help the student to improve in this area.
