About Sophie
As a passionate and dedicated tutor, I love sharing my knowledge and spending time with children, helping them discover the beauty of learning French. I tailor my tutoring approach to suit each student’s needs, focusing on making French lessons enjoyable and interactive. My teaching methodology emphasizes conversation, vocabulary building, and grammar through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and creative exercises. For younger children, I use fun, age-appropriate methods like songs and picture-based learning to keep them interested. For adolescents, I incorporate structured lessons that help build strong grammar foundations, expand vocabulary, and improve writing and speaking skills.
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, balancing focused learning with interactive activities to keep the student engaged. I also provide personalized support to help students gain confidence in using French in everyday contexts.
I am currently a Master’s student in IT at Panthéon-Sorbonne and have experience teaching French to children aged 8–10 in France. My lessons are ideal for children of all ages, from young learners to teenagers, and are adaptable to various skill levels, whether they are beginners or more advanced. Fluent in French and Turkish, I ensure a supportive and encouraging environment for all students.
