About Neil
I am a former teacher and biomedical editor/writer who has been tutoring students since 1986 in high school and college test preparations as well as ELA and math subjects. I have a BA, two MA's, and a Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and the University of Pennsylvania.

I use a "modeling method," which means a deep dive into the subject by the student while I observe and provide hints and suggestions so that the student can figure out how to "solve the problem/reading" him/herself.
