About Layla
As a singing tutor with over 2 years of experience and a BM in Choral Conducting (Vocal Emphasis), I specialize in studio-focused vocal training. My background bridges structured vocal technique and modern music production. I prepare singers specifically for recording sessions. Studio performance requires control and awareness. I teach styles such as Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music. Students learn microphone positioning and vocal consistency. I introduce compression concepts in a singer-friendly way. Auto-tune awareness is part of healthy studio singing. Harmony stacking and vocal layering are practiced regularly. I also guide singers in working efficiently with producers. I’ve worked with school students, emerging artists, and adult vocalists seeking commercial releases. Progress is intentional. Soloists in training receive focused guidance to refine technique and control. Adult beginners are supported step by step, without pressure. Lessons are adjusted to match each student’s pace and goals. I believe learning should feel supportive and motivating. Mistakes are treated as part of the process. Progress is steady and realistic. My aim is to help singers feel confident in their voice. Together, we unlock vocal potential and build a strong foundation for expressive singing.
