About Aaron
Hi! I’m Aaron, a professional oboist based in New York City. I hold both my Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Classical Oboe Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where I studied under Robert Botti (New York Philharmonic). Currently, I perform as a Section Oboist with The Orchestra Now, and my recent performance highlights include playing with the New York Philharmonic and the National Arts Center Orchestra, along with reaching final rounds for major orchestral auditions nationwide.
I bring a wealth of real-world performing and audition experience directly into my studio. As a dedicated educator, I’ve also served as a mentor for the National Seminario at Ravinia, working with young musicians to build technical confidence and artistic expression.

Perfect! Aaron is patient and reliable.
Perfect! Aaron has been a wonderful oboe tutor for my daughter, who is a complete beginner. He patiently explained the basics of the oboe and clearly showed her how to assemble the instrument step by step. His calm and encouraging approach made her feel comfortable. We really appreciate his professionalism and the positive start he has given her on the oboe.
