About Jenny
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 20+ years of experience, having successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I am passionate about helping students learn music in a clear and structured way.
My teaching method focuses on communication, patience, and flexibility, allowing me to adjust lessons based on each student’s learning pace and style. I emphasise strong fundamentals such as breathing, fingering, tone production, and rhythm. I make my classes engaging by including exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students motivated.
I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. My strength is explaining concepts in a simple and easy way. I also support students with basic music theory. My aim is to help students become confident and skilled flute players.

I begin with core techniques such as breath control, tone, and finger placement. These are developed through consistent practice and guidance.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to each student’s pace. Collaboration is encouraged through discussions and creative exercises.
I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident and motivated. I also include music theory and ear training to enhance overall musical understanding.
