I prefer to teach by empowerment! if at the end of the lesson, my tutor can complete worked examples with little or no help from me, then I consider that a job well done!
Typically my lessons last for an hour, with a 5min stretch break in-between!
I have tutored over 30 students in the past 8 years, consistently increasing their grades substantially, taking lots of students from C/D to an A/A*, from F to C grade (which is their maximum), from not enjoying maths to thriving and recognised as most improved in their classes.
I teach from primary school to secondary school, and have taught bespoke mathematics to a plumber! so I am flexible.
