About Christelle

Being a 2026 A level student studying A level Chemistry I have recent knowledge on the required techniques to achieve top grades, particularly with OCR chemistry, as they are changing their exam papers and my year group was the first to experience this.
I have analysed every past paper amongst the recent 2026 paper, which I sat, to understand the patterns and mark schemes of A level Chemistry.
My teachers throughout A level Chemistry have complimented me endlessly on my naturalness when it comes to problem solving in Chemistry and my overall love for the subject.
I have received many A*‘s and A’s throughout my years of sixth form and am now studying an integrated masters in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Warwick.

About the lesson

The first lesson will commence with understanding the students' strengths and weaknesses, identifying patterns in their miscommunication of Chemistry and establishing a target grade for the end of their A level journey.
From this point onwards, I will hone in on their weaknesses and work in unison with them to understand the content, mark scheme and the techniques required to gain full marks. I will deliver these lessons online and will provide topic or skill specific homework each week so that they can build independence and confidence in answering exam questions. Each lesson will be an hour long where 15-30 minutes is dedicated to any gaps in content, addressing struggles with homework or school work and the remaining time is exam and technique practice.
