About Joaquin
My name is Joaquin or simply Joey!
I am 23 years old and am studying for my master's degree at the University of Teacher Education in Bern with the goal of becoming a secondary school teacher.
I love imparting knowledge and my top priority is to create a pleasant teaching setting so that learning success is guaranteed.
Together with my last student, we managed to not only get her to secondary school level, but also to make the transition to high school!
I study German, English, visual arts and sports, but I also have knowledge in many other areas.
I was diagnosed with ADHD during my childhood, which has not put me at a disadvantage at all, but rather given me a deeper understanding of special needs.
I am a very empathetic person and love to support my students so that they can reach their potential, which often remains hidden in school.
I look forward to our cooperation!

Since I am only 23 years old, I have a close connection to the students' lives. I also have three years of tutoring experience and have had many successes. I am a very empathetic person, have a lot of patience and am a great explainer.
As I am training to be a teacher, I am familiar with the many ways to optimally support and encourage my students. This also means that I am very interested in getting to know my students and tailoring lessons to their individual needs.
Teaching is simply my passion :)
