About Kathryn
I have a first class degree in Physical geography and currently studying at Durham University for a masters in Natural Disasters. I have been coaching and volunteering for 8-9 years gaining a coaching qualification 2 years ago. I intend to follow the masters with a PGCE with a view to teaching in the near future. Having also undertaken ambassadorial roles where I would go into schools and run a fun science lesson with fellow students. Helping people learn is a passion of mine, furthermore, I have a wide skill set and love to pass on the knowledge that I have gained. I have been coaching and working as a volunteer with young people for around 9-10 years and have found that building a relationship with pupils is easily done and can aid with learning greatly. I enjoy passing on any and all knowledge I have. I am truly passionate about my subjects and have found both fun and substantial methods of remembering information.
