About Zora
Intro: Hi, my name is Zora and I am a KCL Masters Psychology graduate. I also have a first class BSc Psychology degree and go to extra Psychology lectures to keep up to date. As Psychology is my speciality, I am keen on tutoring students for Psychology GCSE. I am also happy to tutor English GCSE - I have achieved A grades for GCSE English Literature and English Language, and a B grade at English Literature A level. Moreover, I have a TEFL certificate, and have experience teaching English as a foreign language, so can offer structured speaking practice for those that would like to enhance their English speaking skills. I am more than happy to show my certificates and transcripts for my qualifications and experiences. Experience: Although I am just starting a career in tutoring, I have some teaching experiences which have taught me how to effectively engage with students. I have mentored a student for 1 year on a weekly basis, through a charity called Shine Mentoring. More recently, I have taught abroad to 12-19 year olds. Through this experience, I have learnt to effectively mentor students one on one and help them produce work, as well as give useful critical feedback. With regard to more informal experience, I help my younger sister with her preparation for her upcoming GCSE Psychology exam regularly. Approach: I am patient, relaxed, and like to break things down. I will ensure that I use mark schemes and past papers to aid learning, but will also tailor my teaching style and the content taught as per the student. Finally, I also hold a DBS certificate.
