About Laurence
Fresh out of University with a Merit-class Masters degree, I have real practical experience across a range of History-based assignments. This experience includes typical History essay style assignments of varying length, presentations on historical topics, and oral-interviews justifying or explaining assignment methodology on topics. I have also produced two dissertations on original historical research so have practical hands-on experience of using history in the real world.
Specifically, I possess expert knowledge on World War One & Two, Italian and German Unification, Modern Warfare, Superpower relations in the 20th century, Modern US History, The rise and fall of Fascism in 20th century Europe, Modern British History, Mafias and Organised Crime Networks in 20th Century America, Public and Cultural History Theory, British Decolonisation, and British Foreign Policy in the 19th and 20th Centuries. These areas of expertise are based upon successful completion of various educational courses from GCSE, A-Level, and Degree level studies.

As a Masters level graduate who has studied History from GCSE to University level I am able to offer tutoring to any students who need help - from Primary School level to University students. As a tutor I believe it is important to allow students to form their own opinions on the subject matter based around key pieces of information on the national curriculum. This is more beneficial than trying to rehearse key phrases and dates over and over.
