About Namrata
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts and law. Pursuing master's in Law and Development from Azim Premji University in Bangalore. Politics to me at a younger age remained a topic for only intellectuals to indulge. At 23, after completing the bachelor's program, I decided to politicize myself. That took me to the villages of UP, MP, Rajasthan, Assam, and Jharkhand. The reason for traveling to remote places was to understand the position of women in participation of politics. Therefore, I am intrigued to learn about the status of women in politics, through the lens of development that has resulted in me learning about politics and behavior of people towards it, more.

I believe in discussions and dialogues. My class would be a mix of enactments, debates, watching educational videos. Engaging the students to explore the meaning of the subject and its relevance in our daily life. The idea is to start relating to politics from a micro level and then carving out our rights as an individual and other identities.
