About Jack
I led my Psychology class at A-Level to grades A from those that sought my help, and achieved A* myself, with two As in my other subjects, along with two CPD courses in Psychology.
I have written two academically acclaimed essays in Philosophy and Politics and led my team at Summer University in 2016 to the best score on an essay (on globalisation).
I am on course to win top prize in a poetry competition, and can provide excellent support in English, especially literature.

I can provide help to GCSE and A-Level students in any essay-based subject, including Geography, Psychology, Religion, History, Politics, English and Sociology.
I tend to teach with passion and individualism, working hard to ensure students become independent in their handling of information and learning, but also conscious of their own knowledge, actively questioning and assessing information and enjoying their position, giving meaning to what they learn and perhaps even finding who they are in the process.
I tend to place emphasis on the context of questions and continuously develop an ability to express knowledge in the timed conditions of an exam, ensuring students take the perspective of the examiner to perfect their own answers, as well as simply memorising information.
