About Janis

I am a 5-year teacher that invests myself into teaching my students. I have won teacher of the year at my campus for demonstrating a culture of joy for learning and for math. I love to bring the AHA moment to all my students and see the bright light in their eyes.

About the lesson

I break down the learning to the foundation of the content! I make learning fun and hands on to ensure you understand what we are learning and most importantly WHY. I like to use CRA models to build up from concrete understanding, to representational understanding and finally to abstract understanding and application.
