Hi, I’m Desmond, a Mathematics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Melbourne. I believe students are not “bad at Math”; they just need the right explanation. SPM & IGCSE Math tuition designed to help students understand clearly, score better, and gain confidence step by step. My lessons are suitable for secondary school students preparing for SPM or IGCSE, especially those who feel weak in fundamentals or lack confidence in Math.
Each lesson typically runs for 1 to 1.5 hours, where I begin with a quick assessment to understand the student’s level, identify specific weak areas, and then guide them using my structured, step-by-step teaching method.
With over 5 years of teaching experience and a degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Melbourne, I focus on simplifying complex concepts, using targeted exercises, practical techniques, and exam strategies to help students truly understand and apply what they learn, not just memorize.
