About RRAVIKUMAR
Welcome!
As an experienced math teacher and holder of a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, I aim to turn math from a source of frustration into one of confidence for your child.
My academic path reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence. With Straight A's in UPSR, PMR, and SPM, I understand the Malaysian national curriculum firsthand and know the exact strategies needed to excel under exam pressure. I don't just teach formulas; I bring an engineer's analytical, problem-solving mindset into the classroom so students grasp the why behind each concept.
Your child's education is in professional, capable hands. I bring the utmost professionalism, punctuality, and structured planning to every lesson. By pairing my academic credentials with patient, practical teaching methods, I create a supportive space where students feel safe to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and reach their full potential. Let's work together to pave the way for your child's academic success.

Techniques & Teaching Methodology
• Concept-First Learning: I break down complex mathematical formulas into simple, logical steps. Coming from an engineering background, I teach students why a formula works rather than forcing them to memorize it.
• Personalized Diagnostics: I identify each student's specific weak areas and bridge those foundational gaps before moving forward.
• The "Straight-A" Blueprint: I share the exact study habits, note-taking methods, and exam techniques that allowed me to score straight A's throughout my own schooling.
• Active Practice: Lessons involve guided problem-solving, real-world examples, and topical drills using past-year formats to build exam confidence.
Typical Lesson Structure & Length
• Duration: 1.0 hour per session
. Structure: Every session starts with a brief review of the previous topic or school homework, then 45 minutes of core concept instruction, followed by interactive problem-solving and immediate feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
• Academic Background: Possesses a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Personal Track Record: Previously a Straight A's student in UPSR, PMR, and SPM, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the Malaysian national curriculum and marking schemes.
Target Audience and Levels
• Primary School: Standard 1 to Standard 6 (Ages 7–12) – aimed at developing solid foundational numeracy, mental math, and problem-solving abilities.
• Lower Secondary School: Form 1 to Form 3 (Ages 13–15) – aimed at mastering algebra and functions, and getting them ready for upper secondary mathematical concepts.
