About Lyna
As a dedicated grade 11 student from Quebec, Canada, I’ve achieved 100% in my government math exam and am set to graduate with honors in math, chemistry, physics, and French. I know firsthand how important it is to have a teacher who understands different learning styles—especially when traditional methods don’t always fit. Growing up with dyslexia, I was told I wouldn’t excel in math, yet here I am, proving that with the right approach, anything is possible.

I start by reviewing the work they are currently doing in school and understanding how their teacher expects them to approach the material. From there, I break down the concepts, focusing on comprehension first—making sure the student fully understands what the question is asking. Then, I guide them through solving the problem step by step, emphasizing clear and organized answers.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Review of Current Work: We begin by looking at the student's homework or class material to see where they're at.
Concept Breakdown: I explain the relevant concepts in a way that fits their learning style.
Question Understanding: We focus on what the question is asking and how to approach it logically.
Step-by-Step Solutions: I guide the student through answering the question and help them write it clearly.
Practice Problems: To reinforce learning, we work on similar problems to ensure the student is comfortable with the topic.
