About Paula
I am a Math student at university with two years of tutoring experience at my high school. I helped students with their questions and problems in Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus, and gave essay and grammar feedback. Through these sessions, my students did better in their quizzes and tests, but more importantly, they left with more confidence in themselves with their new understanding of the topics. I am currently studying Math at university, so I do it every day and love learning more.

My teaching method depends on students' individual needs and is therefore different for every student. Nonetheless, one thing that I do in almost every lesson is to talk to the student and ask questions about the topic at hand. This is both to let me know where the student is and to familiarize them more with the topic. With math, after discussing the concepts with the students, we work through any specific problems they may have and I would assign more problems that I think might be of help.
