About Naveen
I recently completed my third year at the University of Southern California, majoring in Applied and Computational Mathematics. I have extensive tutor experience; I have been a chess tutor for over a year and also previously been a private math tutor in 2021. I am also an Eagle Scout, adding to my experience of teaching and mentoring youth.

My approach to teaching math will be to understand where the student excels and where he or she struggles. We will focus on the areas of difficulty and work on making the student more comfortable tackling problems that they would have otherwise struggled at doing. What will happen during lessons will range from helping with a student's homework, doing extra practice problems on topics of difficulty, and helping to review for students' upcoming tests or quizzes.

Naveen has been a mentor and guide to boys in his troop and has had great feedback from troop leaders and parents. He is a very patient young man and works well with others (young and old).
